Digital educational resources and teaching capacity in the area of religious education

Developing capabilities in religious education in the context of new technologies is essential for teachers in this area. This research proposed a training plan to use digital educational resources to improve the achievement of skills in religious education teachers. The methodology was non-experimental, descriptive, and transversal, with a quantitative approach. The sample and population were all 30 teachers in the area of religious education. The survey and documentary analysis sheet, which was valid and reliable, were applied to collect the information. The results indicated deficiencies in using digital educational resources and the achievement of capacities. The correlation of the variables is significant direct and positive, allowing the proposal of a training plan to achieve capacities in religious education teachers using digital educational resources.

ChatGPT and scientific research in university higher education

In the present study, the influence of ChatGPT on scientific research in university higher education was determined. The deductive method, quantitative approach, explanatory level, and pre-experimental design were used. The sample consisted of 36 students coursing a Master's Degree in University Research and Teaching at the Graduate School of the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, Puno, Peru. The results showed that ChatGPT significantly influences scientific research, with an increase in results from the pretest of 2.8% to the posttest of 80.6%. In conclusion, ChatGPT has a positive impact on the formulation of scientific research, demonstrating its potential to improve the academic quality and impact of research papers.

A look at school stress and academic self-efficacy in students

School stress is present at many educational levels and can represent a problem when achieving effective academic self-efficacy in young people. This study analyzed school stress to verify its possible relationship with academic self-efficacy in adolescent students. A sample of 245 students was used, to whom the academic self-efficacy scale and the systemic cognitive inventory (SISCO) were applied to determine the possible relationship between these variables. The main findings revealed that school stress has a weak positive relationship with academic stress, because, to achieve satisfactory results in academic performance, there must be appropriate academic self-efficacy, which merits effort and commitment on the part of the student, which causes stressful situations, inevitable for the achievement of objectives.

An andragogical proposal to improve teaching skills at the university level

The development of andragogy training enhances the competencies of university teachers. This study aimed to propose a training program in andragogy to improve teaching effectiveness at the university level. Using a quantitative methodology within a non-experimental design, the research included a sample of 193 teachers, using surveys and questionnaires as instruments. The results revealed that, in general, teaching competencies were at a moderate level, with particular emphasis on strategies that foster intrinsic motivation and opportunities for reflection, self-assessment, and evaluation of adult learners' motivation levels. Generally, the results highlight that andragogy training strengthens teaching competencies and enriches classroom interaction.

Design and simulation of a photovoltaic plant for maximum use of the solar resource in the Toluviejo municipality of Colombia

Currently, there are various technologies for constructing photovoltaic plants including monofacial and bifacial photovoltaic panels, centralized and string-type inverters, and fixed mounting structures with light followers, to build electrical energy generation systems. This work reviewed the advantages and disadvantages between these technologies, and the implementation of a photovoltaic plant in Toluviejo, Colombia was proposed. To justify and confirm the design, simulations were carried out with the PVsyst software, resulting in the bifacial panels, centralized inverters, and structures with light followers, the most effective solution, and with the highest production for the proposed photovoltaic power generation plant.

Factors associated with political participation among university students in Peru

In Peru, the political participation of university students is low, influenced by legal, cultural, and personal factors that limit them to voting only out of obligation. This work analyzed the factors associated with political participation in university students, considering their socio-academic variables. A sample of 310 students was used, where low levels of political participation were found, with significant associations to factors such as apoliticism, mobilization, and activism, but without relation to sociodemographic variables such as sex, occupation, or economic dependence. The lack of participation is attributed to distrust in political actors due to corruption and personal disinterest, with a greater focus on one's academic activities.

Digital media ecosystem: a dimensional analysis according to the criteria of specialists

Digital marketing plays an important role in achieving organizations' strategies. This article aims to identify the elements and resources capable of configuring a digital media system that increases the effectiveness of commercial strategies. The present study was a non-experimental cross-sectional study. The empirical method used was data collection with an instrument structured by 5-option Likert scales. The survey was applied to 273 specialists. The statistical procedure used to measure the quality of the model was reliability analysis and factor analysis. The elements most recommended by experts in each digital channel were defined. It is concluded that a digital media ecosystem is formed by social networks, paid advertising, mobile marketing, organic positioning, social media, email marketing, and websites.

Relationship between emotional intelligence and school coexistence in elementary school students: a study using the BarOn Ice and ECE inventories

School coexistence is essential for the healthy development of children and is often affected by emotional situations that may arise in their individual experiences. This work analyzed whether emotional intelligence effectively influences personal relationships and, consequently, the coexistence of primary school students. To this end, the behaviors of 267 children at the primary level were analyzed to know their emotional levels and social relationships in the school environment. The main results showed a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and coexistence and social development in students, which motivates the inclusion of methodologies and strategies that reinforce the control of emotions and contribute to improving coexistence spaces in the classroom.

Neurodidactics and its impact on child development

Neurodidactics combines neuroscience and education to understand how the brain functions during the learning process, providing pedagogical strategies based on this knowledge to optimize teaching. This study implemented a set of multisensory educational games with children aged 4 to 5 over six months, aiming to compare their cognitive, emotional, and motor development with another group that received traditional instruction. The results enabled an assessment of the impact of neurodidactic strategies on children's learning, analyzing how these approaches can enhance cognitive skills, emotional regulation, and physical development compared to conventional methods, thus contributing to a more comprehensive education.

Use of transformational leadership for the study of social skills in university students

In this work, an analysis of transformational leadership and its impact on social skills in university students was carried out. The research was applied with a pre-experimental design. A sample of 169 university students, was evaluated through a 20-item questionnaire with 5 options, validated by experts. The results showed that an appropriate and well-directed leadership program significantly favors people's social skills and that this in turn contributes to the improvement of the person as an individual, and to their professional role in society. Hence, it is important to use training and personal development programs that improve leadership in universities and social actors, who will be the future of the new societies.

Circular economy model for technical and technological institutes

The circular economy is based on sharing, reusing, repairing, renewing, and recycling materials and products. Education is fundamental in understanding and promoting this model. However, in technological education institutes, it is not common to incorporate these concepts into curricula, research, or operations. Hence, a need arises to evaluate the application of the circular economy in these institutions, through socioeconomic and environmental aspects. Thus, this work aimed to develop a model to implement the circular economy in technological institutions, focusing on environmental and social sustainability. A model is developed based on a critical and interpretative literature review, employing Grounded Theory and the Participatory Action Research methodology. The main results present a structured model of the circular economy for technical and technological institutes, outlining the strategies that should be implemented for its development, which experts and directors of these institutions have validated.

Corporate identity in the hotel sector: user perspectives

The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of users or consumers about hotel services, and thus provide ideas that could improve the corporate identity strategy of hotels and, ultimately, their performance in the market. To carry out this study, information was collected from a sample of 131 users of the hotel sector, who were administered a questionnaire with 20 questions. The aim was to understand the perception of guests regarding the hotel brand, considering the iconic, chromatic, and verbal identity. The results confirmed that users valued the quality of the services offered by the hotels, but the importance of corporate identity when consuming these services is of great interest.

The application of multivariate analysis in various social and economic sectors allows the implementation and denoting of the virtues that this statistical method has and the relevance that is generated in the presentation of results for the decision-making necessary in the development of SMEs, allowing to indicate the various factors that lead to their growth and consolidation in the market. The factors that have a significant impact on these types of companies are analyzed, through the application of multivariate techniques such as Factor Analysis, Principal Components, Cluster, and Classification Models that in turn have allowed a reduction from 211 variables to 32 latent variables that focus the initial information, obtaining that the opportunities and capabilities, physical environment and health and job satisfaction that constitute SMEs are the factors that have the greatest influence have in their consolidation.

Creativity, intrinsically linked to creative thinking, stands as an essential tool for innovative problem solving, a highly valued ability in the current context. While education plays a critical role in developing a student's creative and reflective potential, its promotion does not always receive the necessary attention. This study analyzes the influence of creative thinking on the academic performance of university students. Methodologically, a bibliographic review was carried out in the main databases, identifying 20 relevant studies. The results revealed various strategies to promote creative thinking, with contextualized and heterogeneous responses. The need to deepen research in this area is highlighted to generate a more robust corpus of knowledge that can be evaluated and applied by the educational community.

Playful gamification teaching strategy for the development of gross motor coordination in children aged 4 to 5 years

The educational strategy of playful gamification is a tool that contributes significantly to the development of motor coordination of boys and girls, allowing them to improve the process of acquiring skills and abilities and making learning much more effective, playful, and didactic. Where the direct beneficiaries are the children. The methodology used is specified in the use of a mixed type approach (qualitative and quantitative) with a descriptive type with the use of theoretical, inductive-deductive, and empirical methods, the instruments of the interview with teachers and the observation sheet for boys and girls, relevant results are specified that are based on the application of the instruments where it is indicated that the development of children's gross motor coordination becomes much more significant with the integration of a didactic strategy of playful gamification.

Validation of the instrument to measure attitudes toward gender equality in university students in Peru

Good attitudes toward gender equality are a basic element that must be considered in the profile of university students, to train professionals with high academic, scientific, and technical skills, as well as high human quality and sensitivity to the environment. In this work, the instrument's psychometric properties related to attitudes towards gender equality were validated. The study was instrumental, involving 776 university students who were intentionally selected. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed, demonstrating that the original model presented a need for adjustments, being necessary to implement the model with the covariation between the errors, achieving that the adjustment indices are adequate (CFI=0.914 and TLI= 0.900) and good adjustments in the SRMR= 0.052 and RMSEA= 0.052, likewise, the reliability with Omega was 0.787. Achieving that the instrument achieves adequate indicators of validity and reliability.

Effectiveness of learning strategies in university students

Learning strategies enable students to activate and sustain cognitive and behavioral processes aimed at achieving academic objectives. This study aimed to describe the use of these tools among university students. Employing a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design, the research included 103 participants who completed a 45-item questionnaire validated by experts, achieving a 0.974 reliability coefficient. The findings revealed a high prevalence of their usage among students, ranging from 65% to 82.5%. The most frequently employed techniques were related to coding processes. Furthermore, the results highlighted that methods enhancing information retention and memory consolidation were the most prominently utilized by university students.

Student satisfaction in virtual education

Virtual education emerged as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing for educational continuity through social distancing. However, this transition revealed inequalities in access to and use of technology among students and teachers, influenced by factors such as geographical location, economic resources, and technology training. Additionally, the pandemic generated psychosocial issues that impacted students' emotional well-being, increasing stress and sleep disorders. Although various studies have analyzed virtual education, focusing on its behavior during and after the crisis, a significant gap has been observed between public and private education in terms of resources and quality. This study focuses on student satisfaction in virtual education, exploring conditions and methodological variables, and is part of a chapter in a book examining the educational system during the pandemic.
