Efficient Public Management for the Institutional Mission of Subnational Governments in Latin America

This study analyzed the influence of efficient public management on the fulfillment of the institutional mission of subnational governments in Latin America, using a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, and an explanatory scope. The sample consisted of 370 actors linked to public management. The results showed a positive, strong, and statistically significant relationship between the variables (ρ = 0.9533; p < 0.05), as well as a high explanatory capacity of the model (R² = 0.9088). Likewise, three levels of maturity in public management were identified: normative, operational, and strategic, which made it possible to interpret the phenomenon from an evolutionary perspective. It is concluded that efficient public management not only affects the fulfillment of the institutional mission but also constitutes a structural factor that strengthens governance and sustainable regional development.

Innovative Strategies for Motivation and Learning in Secondary Education: A Comparative Systematic Review with Traditional Approaches

This systematic review examined the influence of innovative strategies on motivation and learning in secondary education in comparison with traditional instructional approaches. The study was conducted following the \textit{PRISMA} protocol for the identification, screening, eligibility, and selection of studies, resulting in a final corpus of 20 high-evidence investigations, including meta-analyses and experimental studies. The findings indicate a predominance of active methodologies, particularly problem-based learning, cooperative learning, and the flipped classroom, which have shown positive effects on academic achievement and student engagement. In addition, gamification was identified as a relevant strategy for enhancing motivation, whereas emerging technologies contributed to conceptual understanding in specific educational contexts. Conversely, traditional approaches showed limitations in promoting meaningful learning. It is concluded that innovative strategies, when implemented in a contextualized and pedagogically grounded manner, constitute a key factor in improving educational quality in secondary education.

Quíta el maquetado latex: This study analyzes the compulsory nature of suffrage in Latin America and its influence on electoral participation, the quality of political representation, and democratic legitimacy. To this end, a systematic review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines, with searches carried out in \textit{Web of Science}, \textit{SciELO}, and \textit{Scopus}, considering articles published between 2021 and 2025 in the fields of political science and law. As a result, 18 studies were selected. The findings made it possible to identify patterns, recent gaps in the literature, and points of convergence. It is concluded that compulsory voting constitutes a significant mechanism for broadening electoral participation.

Pedagogical Integration of ICTs in Early Childhood Education: A Systematic Review

This study sought to analyze the state of the art of the pedagogical integration of ICTs in early childhood education through a systematic review, using the PRISMA approach. A search was conducted in indexed databases covering the period from 2020 to 2025. By applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 32 articles were selected. The findings showed that the planned and mediated use of digital resources fosters cognitive development and children's motivation. However, gaps in teacher training and infrastructure still persist. It is concluded that effectiveness depends on pedagogical mediation and the strengthening of teachers' digital competence.

A Systematic Review of the Participation of Organized Civil Society in Participatory Budgeting in Latin America

This study systematically analyzed the scientific production of recent years regarding the role of organized civil society in participatory budgeting processes in Latin America. To this end, a theoretical review with a qualitative approach was conducted, following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and using the Scopus, Web of Science, and SciELO databases, from which 35 studies published between 2019 and 2025 were selected. The findings showed that the influence of civil society depends on the type of actor involved, the institutional design of participatory budgeting, and the deliberative quality of the processes. It was concluded that tensions persist among equity, inclusion, and sectoral capture as fundamental elements shaping civil society participation.
