Abstract
This bibliometric study outlines a consolidated overview of research on territorial and rural development between 2021 and 2025, highlighting its early maturity through moderate international collaborative patterns (18.18%) and a predominant thematic focus on social structures and governmental guidelines. The slight annual decrease in publications (-3.28%) and the moderate citation impact (five citations per document) underscore the need for strategies to enhance global visibility and interdisciplinary integration. Thus, this study positions itself as a reference for guiding future agendas in rural development, fostering sustainable progress in territorial policy.
