Abstract
The main objective of this study is to analyze the use made by students of the Virtual Learning Environments of the National Computer Training Program of the Territorial Polytechnic University of Lara State "Andrés Eloy Blanco". The research was based on the positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach, framed in the descriptive field research modality. In order to achieve the objective, forty-four (44) virtual classrooms opened during Lapse II-2018 were monitored, which
allowed gathering the information supported in the observation of the student's participation in the technological platform, through From a checklist, the reality of the use of the Virtual Learning Environments was diagnosed and to make the pertinent recommendations on corrective actions. Results that show a low level of use and participation in the virtual classroom were reflected. What allows us to conclude that, it is necessary to promote the use and participation in the Virtual Learning Environments, to produce a transformation of virtual classrooms, ceasing to be repositories of information and giving rise to an active, participative and collaborative virtual educational process.
