Abstract

In this work we present the advances in the generation of electrical energy from renewable energy, particularly the hydraulic, and its impact on the national industry that Ecuador has developed in the period 2014 - 2020, given the importance of the topic at the global level for habitat conservation. , the environment and energy savings. Ecuador is recognized in fifth place for the production of electrical energy from renewable energy globally, and this makes it an object of study, especially due to the impact it produces in the industrial sector that sees the opportunity to reinforce its prosperity from this power source. The research is supported by a review of official national and international documents and articles published in databases on the subject, which results in the holistic vision of the installed infrastructure of electricity generation from renewable energy, projects initiated and by initiate international agreements of the new energy matrix of the Ecuadorian State that has a profound impact on the development of the National industry.
