Abstract
Cultural expressions are a constant within the process it is up to each generation to revitalize and be part of folklore. Part of these is the Caylloma embroideries. The objective of this research focuses on the description of the origin and socio-economic environment of the embroidery craft worker in this region; their experiences and experiences. The transmission of customs, family work, the adaptation of their teams, the process of changing raw materials; and especially an analysis of the socio-cultural importance of this artisan work of embroidery. Direct observation was used in the research process, as well as the unstructured interview and the literature review. From where significant results could be obtained, such as the fact that 72%
do not know the origin of the symbols in their embroidery. Concluding that the focus of embroidery should be oriented on tourism.
