Abstract

The objective of this article was to carry out a risk analysis according to Pmbok guidelines, for a project to implement home gardens in the Tena municipality (Cundinamarca). The research began with the planning and identification of risks, followed by a qualitative evaluation. Subsequently, the Monte Carlo simulation technique is applied using the @risk software, for the quantitative analysis of risks. Finally, a response plan to the risks was developed, where actions are proposed to prevent, mitigate or correct them. As a result of this analysis, it was found that, when assessing project risks independently for the two sectors, it was observed that the probability of risk is substantially different for both sectors, showing that the sector with the lowest risk is agriculture.
