Resumen
El estudio analizó la relación entre el senderismo ecoturístico y la interpretación ambiental en las Lomas de Paraíso, Lima. Se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal, en una muestra de 377 visitantes adultos. La información se recolectó mediante un cuestionario tipo Likert y se analizó mediante estadística descriptiva y el coeficiente Rho de Spearman. Los resultados evidenciaron una asociación positiva y significativa entre el senderismo ecoturístico y la interpretación ambiental (ρ = 0,214; p < 0,001), aunque de baja magnitud. Entre sus dimensiones, las prácticas de conservación presentaron la relación más elevada con la interpretación ambiental (ρ = 0,242), seguidas por la infraestructura (ρ = 0,185) y la experiencia del visitante (ρ = 0,131). Se concluye que el senderismo constituye un contexto favorable para la interpretación ambiental, pero su potencial educativo depende de la articulación entre conservación, infraestructura y estrategias interpretativas.Citas
