LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURE: A BENCHMARKING BETWEEN COLOMBIA VS MEXICO

Abstract

The need to move goods more efficiently within and outside a country has made physical logistics infrastructure a key piece for competitiveness and development. Mexico and Colombia are countries with great similarities such as their access to the two oceans, their people with similar cultures and behaviors, including their history of violence and corruption. The objective of this article is to benchmark in this field and, based on the results, provide recommendations to Colombia for the achievement of that long-awaited competitiveness and development.
