Resumen
La investigación analizó la producción científica, las redes de colaboración y la estructura temática sobre la contaminación de cangrejos marinos, dulceacuícolas y mixohalinos con metales pesados, con el propósito de identificar vacíos, tendencias y líneas futuras de estudio. Se recuperaron 217 registros en Web of Science, de los cuales se excluyeron 12 por no estar directamente relacionados. Los 205 restantes se procesaron mediante VOSviewer y Bibliometrix, generando redes de coautoría, coocurrencia de palabras clave y mapas temáticos. Los hallazgos muestran un creciente interés por este tema debido a sus implicaciones ambientales y sanitarias. China, Estados Unidos y Brasil lideran en publicaciones, destacando este último como nodo clave de colaboración. Se identificaron temas recurrentes como bioacumulación y cadmio, y emergentes como biomarcadores y selenio. Persisten vacíos en integración molecular, especies no tradicionales y seguridad alimentaria, lo que evidencia oportunidades para nuevas investigaciones.
