Abstract
Managing an educational institution today entails undertaking a complex management process shaped by challenges that vary according to the rural context in which it operates. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of educational policies on management and job performance in rural institutions across Latin America between 2022 and 2025 through a systematic review of 51 articles. The findings show how management influences educational practices and provides alternatives for addressing problems that current guidelines seek to resolve. A clear relationship exists between policy and management; however, in practice, policy implementation remains partial, thereby limiting the achievement of the planned outcomes.
