Abstract
In vivo digestibility in Creole goats was evaluated with the feeding of whole diets whose forage base was the Moringa oleifera harvested 60 and 75 days. Five whole Creole goats of 24-36 months of age with an approximate live weight of 25-30 kg were used, a completely randomized design with two treatments and five repetitions was applied, the animals entered experimentation where 10 days of adaptation and 7 days were given Stool collection (in vivo technique), a proportional 25 % of feces was collected, for processing and respective laboratory analysis. DMS values (72,69 – 73,11 %); DPB (61,56 – 71,30 %) and DFB (78,64 – 73,27 %) for 60 and 75 days respectively, which did not show differences except for PB and FB values that were different (P < 0,05) the results obtained in this experiment are in the categorization parameters of excellent digestibility.key words.
Keywords: goats, stool, in vivo, moringa oleifera.
