Abstract
This article aims to publicize the importance of art and culture at the various levels of education, where the role of the teacher focuses on the provision of educational environments that facilitate immersion in the various dimensions that art has. In the same way, the importance of the design of school projects that guarantee teaching through art and culture as a facilitating means of learning, as well as the integral development of the individual, is evident. The methodology used by means of surveys reflects considerable results for a better academic performance in the artistic areas, where 38% consider this area of education to be indispensable, since it fosters a high percentage of creativity, also in the data obtained it is important to highlight how 45% consider that this artistic area should be implemented in all areas of study. Finally, this gives way to the Milagro State University being committed to promoting art and culture with its various school programs and projects, having the acceptance and active participation of authorities, teachers and students, strengthening the ancestral roots of all peoples, this as a dynamic element of the educational society and tangible sample of the educational quality that it provides to society.
