Abstract

Social Spiritual Responsibility (CSR) arises from the pyramid of Social Responsibility [1]. This pyramid has philanthropic social responsibility on its cusp. CSR is related to the intrinsic part of being, which urges activities for the common good. In contrast to spirituality, it generates a work environment beneficial to the organization. The objective of this research is to establish a theoretical model applied to the business reality of Ecuador, based on business associativity. The theoretical methods used to make the categorical system were: historical-logical, inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic. The empirical methods for data collection and operation were: information collection (through a structured questionnaire and the application of telephone surveys), and construct validity analysis (reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis). The instrument was applied to a sample of 268 organizations, randomly selected without replacement. The results show a high coincidence between the categorical system and the behavior of the measures taken to officials of the organizations. The conclusions of reliability and validity are stated in indicators, namely: Cronbach's alpha = 0.905; KMO = 0.882; Bartlett's Chi-square = 5640,338; Gl = 465; statistical significance = 0.000 and a total variance explained to 62.33%.
