Abstract

A feasibility study of the implementation of 3D bioprinting technology is presented, presenting aspects of interest to health institutions. These types of projects promote improvements in the quality of life of citizens, offering effective and effective solutions to different skin ailments, more specifically to burn problems. The work was carried out at the Eugenio Espejo Hospital in the city of Quito, Ecuador, for its important medical demand in the metropolitan area. This work deals with the development of the technology necessary to carry out the bioprinting service, taking into account the economic and feasibility aspects and relevant for its implementation so that this service is optimal and responds adequately to the social needs in the problems associated health.
