Abstract

The objective of the research is to analyze how intellectual capital is related to the organizational culture, understanding that in this element the behavior and attitudes of the company's employees are fundamental for the functions to be developed with the policies that the company acquires. The research method is descriptive, based on the analysis of the factors that were statistically found. The application of 21 items was considered in the questionnaire addressed to the owners of the companies in the sector. As a result, a reliability of 0.97 was obtained with the use of Cronbach's Alpha and the KMO and Barlett test, while the Kayser Meyer measure of sampling adequacy was 0.87. A preponderant result was the one related to relational capital, this being the most important for business owners, because it allows the sustainability of their business through customer retention and this is achieved according to their perception with individual behavior based on the culture of the company, its mission, vision and the individual values of the employees.
