Abstract

Ecuadorian banana organizations are dedicated to commercializing and producing bananas. Corporate social responsibility plays an essential role in their development since their compliance with stakeholders gives them a good reputation. For this reason, this research aims to determine the relationship
between Business Reputation (ER) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in banana organizations. Therefore, a methodology was carried out by treating the information in a sample of 86 banana farms, with a quantitative methodology, with a correlational level and a descriptive scope, through Spearman's Rho
correlation and validation with Cronbach's alpha of 0.97. In this way, the information obtained allowed a categorical system to be made for each variable, composed of the most influential factors according to their degree of correlation between 0.70 and 0.96, concluding that Corporate Social Responsibility is influential in business reputation in companies Ecuadorian banana companies.
