Abstract

Entrepreneurial intention is a key construct for understanding university students' disposition toward creating business initiatives and developing sustainable projects. The objective of this study was to provide evidence of the validity and reliability of an instrument designed to measure entrepreneurial intention among Peruvian university students. A quantitative study with an instrumental design was conducted to evaluate the psychometric properties of the scale through exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and internal consistency estimation. The results revealed a three-dimensional structure consistent with the theoretical model based on attitude toward entrepreneurship, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. Likewise, the model showed adequate goodness-of-fit indices and satisfactory reliability levels. It is concluded that the instrument constitutes a valid and reliable tool for assessing entrepreneurial intention in Peruvian university contexts, supporting its use in research and entrepreneurship education programs.
