Abstract

The following work presents a study carried out on families with disabled children. The main objective was to evaluate how reflexive parenting skills are being developed and to identify in which development zone their components are located from the Family Support Networks Project to Educational Inclusion. The Institutions that participated in the Project belong to the Inclusive and Specialized Schools of District one and two that correspond to the parish of Ximena Zona 8 Guayaquil. The information was collected taking into account the parents of a population of 107 children and adolescents aged between 4 and 18 years. The design was framed in the quantitative perspective, observation technique where information was obtained in the place of the facts, as well as the application of interview, test. With the information obtained, it was determined that the parents who have their children between the ages of 4 and 7, their area of parental development is at risk, improving to the monitoring area when their children grow from 8 to 12 years old. optimum when their children are between the ages of 13 and 18.
